The item author specifies one or more area(s)/point(s) on the image to identify a correct response. ExamDeveloper provides an interface for users to create the questions. - Click the Select/Upload Image button above the Shape Editor to select an image for the item. The supported image types for Point and Click Questions are .JPG, .JPEG, .GIF, .PNG, .BMP, .DCM, . ODG, .TGA, .SVG, and .TIF.

Select the check boxes for the correct shape label field(s). Leave the check boxes for the incorrect shape labels as unselected.
- Select Hot Spot (default) or Hot Area radio button to determine how the candidate views the item in the Assessment Driver.
- If Hot Spot is selected, the drop zones are not visible even when the mouse cursor is moved over them. When the candidate clicks on the asset in the Assessment Driver, a point is marked where they clicked.
- If Hot Area is selected, the drop zones are displayed as soon as the mouse cursor is moved over them. When the candidate clicks on any of the drop zones in the asset in the Assessment Driver, the entire drop zone is marked and becomes visible.
